Nick Dean

Coming to Engage by way of an eclectic past, Nick brings to the table a passion for music, film, coffee, camping, practical theology, the written word, justice, and Christ's love (in no specific order—he is an exhaustively passionate guy). As Engage Project Director, Nick is helping to develop Engage Magazine into a platform that communicates truth and grace with excellence.

Having had a rocky road to—and within—faith himself, Nick yearns for the skeptics, the hurt, the angry, and the culturally unwanted to know they are loved and treasured by the God who does not create unlovable creatures.  Nick is a self-proclaimed imperfect follower of Christ, perpetual learner of things, frequent victim of daydreams, and occasional writer of words. He harbors strong feelings against wearing socks that match, and also laughs at his own jokes way too often.
