About Engage

Engage exists to provide perspective on culture through the eyes of a Biblical worldview, showing how that worldview intersects with culture and engages it.

We are a team of 20-somethings brought together by a common faith in Jesus Christ and employment in our parent organization American Family Association.

Chris Woodward

Writer For Engage

Chris Woodward comes to Engage by way of American Family News and One News Now. A Communications major, Chris began his career in television where he served as a Producer for top-rated newscasts in the Southeastern United States. Around the birth of his first child in 2009, Chris began feeling like he was meant for something else. He was also growing tired of “all the bad news” he had to deliver to viewers. It wasn’t until he interviewed for a job at AFN that Chris was hit with the biggest question of all time: ‘Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior?’ Several days went by and more discussions took place. Long story short, Chris accepted Jesus as Lord and life has never been the same. Now back in his home state with his wife and children, Chris loves to talk about the Bible, Jesus and what lies ahead.
