For one week in August, Engage Magazine is proudly teaming up with Revival Fires to flood the schools of the nation with the word of God. Prayers will be lifted up as the Truth for Youth Bible is placed into the hands of young people who have never read God’s Word before.
Truth for Youth Bible week, August 6-10, aims to provide copies of Truth for Youth for teenagers if they will agree to give the Bible to a friend who might not know Christ. Truth for Youth includes the entire New Testament in the God's Word Translation along with 100 pages of comics that present the Christian perspective on many issues that young people are confronted with. These issues include topics such as sexual purity, pornography, harmful music, abortion, homosexuality, drunkenness, school violence, and the occult.
The #Number6 initiative
During this campaign, the partnership of Engage and Revival Fires is tackling the sobering issue of murder as the Bibles are passed along from student to student. With the rise of awareness and frequency in school shootings, the need to return to the Biblical view of life is urgent. With every copy of Truth for Youth comes a #Number6 bracelet to promote the message of the sixth commandment, “You shall not kill”. It’s more than just a statement that murder is evil. It’s a validation of the sanctity of life.
